Do you ship Internationally?
Yes! All foods, supplies, decorations and merchandise can be shipped internationally. Unfortunately, due to varying customs and longer shipping times we cannot ship any Live Animals or Live Plants internationally. Go through the checkout process to see a quote for international shipping costs.
What does it Cost to Ship Live Animals? Do you Guarantee Live Arrival?
Live Animal Shipping Costs $9.99 for your entire order. This is a flat rate if you order 1 or 100 Live Animals. We ship Live Animals Priority Mail via USPS. This generally take 2-3 business days to arrive. We only ship Live Animals Monday-Wednesday to avoid any delivery or pickup interruptions over the weekend. Live Arrival is Guaranteed! It is incredibly important to review our Live Arrival Guarantee before placing any order with Live Animals. Because of the fragile nature of Live Animals it is very important to take extra precaution to be prepared for their arrival. Can I request a certain day for delivery?
We ship out of Phoenix Arizona, using the United States Postal Service. All orders come with a tracking number to see updated reports about where your package is and when you can expect it to arrive at your home. You will receive a confirmation email at checkout, followed by a shipping confirmation with tracking details on the day we ship your order. You can see more details about shipping HERE.
How long does it take to ship?
This all depends on the type of order you placed. If you made an order that is only food or supplies, and does not include any live animals, it will be sent usually within 1 business day via USPS First Class Mail, which generally takes 3-5 days. Shipping is Free for all orders that do not include live animals. We send out Live Animal orders Monday through Wednesday. View our Shipping Calendar for shipping dates and possible delays. When any order is shipped you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details. Do you ship with heat packs or ice packs?
We do not ship with heat packs and only in certain situations will we ship with ice packs. It may be hard to understand why we do this, but its for a good reason. The majority of the time your order is in shipment, it is in a temperature controlled location. While it ships from building to building it is rarely exposed to cold/heat. The most critical and dangerous time is the day of delivery in your hometown. That's because many of the mail trucks used for "day of" delivery do not have air conditioning or heat. The hours it could potentially sit on this mail truck is when they often will freeze (or boil). If we use a heat pack for the first 2 days of their journey, it often leads to overheating. If you are ordering an Axolotl in the warmer months, we often will add ice packs to the shipment (at no cost, at our discretion) this is because Axolotls are much more heat sensitive than most aquatic life we carry and can withstand cold temperatures much better than warm temperatures. Can you get certain species of animals or specific products?

How do I file claim for DOA or missing packages?
To make a claim for any Live Creatures that arrived deceased, please review our Live Arrival Guarantee and then file a claim here. For missing packages, please check your email for the orders tracking number and see when its expected to be delivered. If there is no ETA, or if there seems to be issues with delivery or longer than normal shipping times, please file a claim here.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
We accept returns for all food, supplies, decorations and merchandise. Please contact us at Sales@InvertAquatics.com to request a return. We do not accept returns or exchanges on any Live Animals. All Live Animal sales are final.
Do you wholesale your specialty foods or animals?
Yes, we can arrange for wholesale orders of our Branded, Copper-Free Specialty Foods. Please contact Sales@InvertAquatics.com for wholesale inquiries. Please e-mail us for information about wholesale Live Animals and Plants. We only wholesale Live Animals to retail locations. We are happy to wholesale our Foods to online vendors upon confirmation of your website.
