Please be aware shipping Live Animals comes with some  risk. There is a level of responsibility the purchaser has to make sure delivery goes smoothly including tracking your package, picking up orders held at the post office, being available the day of delivery, acclimating arrivals properly and being aware of your local weather. 

Please contact us OR leave a message in the "Special Instructions for Seller" section in your cart if your local temps are below 45 degrees or above 85 degrees (this includes the days lows and highs). We reserve the right to void the guarantee if you do not contact us prior to ordering when your city is experiencing "extreme" temps. Please request for your package to be held for pickup if your local temps are below 45 degrees or above 85 degrees. This can be done in the "Special Instructions for Seller" box in your cart, prior to checkout.

Please know your local temperatures and take into consideration you are ordering live animals that generally live in tropical temperature waters. If you have any concerns about safe delivery in cold or hot climates, please request the package be held for pickup at a local post office. Failure to do so could cause us to void our guarantee at our discretion.

In many cases, we reserve the right to request the carrier holds the package for pickup at your local post office if we believe there is a chance that your local city temps are going to fall outside of that range. You will not be notified beforehand that your package is being held for pickup. Please be aware that many time your postal worker will not leave a note saying you have a package to pickup. You will need to keep a close eye on the tracking number (you will receive this via email on the day your order ships). Tracking information will update as "Ready for Pickup" so it is vital you check your tracking number often. Please pick up your order from the post office as quickly as possible. 

Live Animal Orders are shipped Monday-Wednesday.  Please see our Shipping Calendar for when we are shipping next. All animals come with a Live Arrival Guarantee, in the unfortunate case that you receive any animals DOA, please take a picture of the bags and file a claim within 2 hours of delivery. We will provide a store credit for a future purchase at our discretion. Shipping Fees are non-refundable. Please enter a valid email address at checkout in order to receive the tracking number for your Live Animal Order. Please be available to receive your package the day it is estimated to arrive or ready to pick up your order from your local post office.

Your guarantee is void if you do not enter a valid email address at checkout, it is your responsibility to track and receive (or pickup) your order. If you wish to have your order shipped Overnight Express we can arrange that, please contact us at Sales@InvertAquatics.com to get a shipping quote.

All pictures on our website are examples of what the animals look like, there will be color and size variations in your actual order due to the unique characteristics of all living creatures! There are no returns or exchanges on Live Animals.

Please remember, these are living creatures, some which can be very sensitive to temperatures. We want all of our animals to have happy and healthy lives and want to ensure they make it to you safely. It is your responsibility to track your order closely and make sure your new pets are quickly acclimated to their new homes. Being aware of when your order is coming is vital to making sure they have the least amount of time in their shipping containers.
