Bettas are one of the most popular pet fish, with 3-5 year lifespans, and easy care requirements, Bettas are a great pet for every hobbyist from beginner to expert!

Male Bettas are best kept by themselves as they are aggressive towards other Bettas, though some have successfully been kept in Community Aquariums. Females can be housed together and also in Community Tanks, however some may still display aggressive behavior and should be monitored initially.

Bettas diet can be fed primarily pelleted diets, though brine shrimp and blood worms are a great treat. Please note that many commercial Betta Foods contain copper, which are deadly to Snails and Shrimps! If you house any snails or other invertebrates with the Betta, please use a copper-free food like Invert Aquatic's Betta Bits.
