Tank Size - 5 Gallons and Larger

Aside from the rich colors of Assassin Snails, these popular aquarium snails are often added to aquariums that have an infestation of unwanted pest snails. The name does them justice, as they hunt down pest snails and eat them. Great for controlling populations of unwanted snails, but can still be housed with shrimp and fish safely! Assassin snails will also sometimes burrow down into substrate, especially sand.

For pest snail population control it is recommended on stocking heavily, about 4 Assassin Snails per 10 Gallons.
